Starting next year Verizon to display mobile Ads

Sprint started this and now Verizon is following the footsteps what’s wrong in it is this that the nonsense and utter disgusting ads which are seldom useful will appear on your cellphone screen while surfing net.

These ads will start appearing early next year and will be coaxing customers to visit weather, sports and other internet sites.

The Ovum Research

is reporting that where as in 2006 the total money spent on advertising on phones was $45 million and it is expected to reach $150 million this year. So there is large share of pie up for grabs for early players.

Verizon officials assured that they will limit the number of ads and area in which they would appear so as not to disturb the user.

It is good that the operators will now have other revenue source but what about the customers will they keep on paying hefty rentals and now will have to cope up with ads also or will these operators when they start earning substantial revenue will give discounted phones.
